america, fuck yeah

Just a quick post of my 4th of July nails. The red is China Glaze Adventure Red-y and the blue is American Apparel Mount Royal. I originally had a star sequin on my ring finger. I hated it so I glued a star rhinestone over it... and hated it more. Yet I was too lazy to repaint the whole nail so you can probably see the lil divot there haha. Anyway, don't get too drunk.

 Today I'm wearing Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pansy. It's an odd purple creme, leaning towards pink. I guess I'd describe it as orchid.

The picture in the sun is the most color accurate. This color is so odd, it somehow manages to look like a nude polish on both my housemate's super white skin and on my brown skin...

Hello! I wore a really bright and spring-y, cool-toned red today, Nicole by OPI's Please Red-Cycle.

While trying to pose with the bottle, I realized how hard the Nicole by OPI bottles are to hold... I propose everyone poses with them like so:

For what's closest to what it looks like most of the time, I'll finish off with a picture of it kinda in the shade.

Wah styled daisies

This manicure attempted to mimic a wah nails manicure. But I didn't have a true yellow and I wanted to use my new mustard yellow polish, so I made a hipster version.

I used Zoya Natty, Essie Sand Tropez, and Nails Inc Hampstead Way. I've been doing some nail art this past week and I've been doing it on both hands the same for the first time in ages. For being a manicure made only of dots, it was unexpectedly time consuming... 

Happy Valentine's!

Just a plain and simple manicure for Valentine's Day. I tried to do something without being overly pink, white, and red. Initially this didn't have the pink stripes on each nail, but I felt that it was missing something and added them in a couple hours after.

I used Essie French Affair, CQ Minty Green, and Zoya Storm for the outline. The heart is reallllly puffy because I freehanded and I suck, but it kinda makes it look extra cartoon-y.

I'm not quite sure how accurate this list is. I started it & did it all thoroughly a few months back, but I didn't update it until last night so I've probably skimmed over a couple polishes.

my first successful tape mani ^^ (that isn't just stripes)

This was done back in late August or September of last year using a Japanese polish, pa A113, a black jelly base with small and medium hex holographic glitter.

I don't really have any decent pictures, but I remember really liking this mani. I did it back when I wasn't able to keep any food down for like a month. haha nail polish fixes all your problems.
